Welcome!  It is so good to have you stop by and visit for a while.  I trust this is a day that is especially blessed for you.  We are doing our best to keep things updated so that your visit will be enjoyable. Are you enjoying the Spring season?  I so enjoy the time when the birds come singing, the flowers push up through the ground and the baby animals are out and about, it is a time of rejoicing!   God said in His word, “The time of the singing of birds is come!”  We should be full of gratitude and rejoicing that our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, has given us so much.  Let “Rejoicing” be your word for today! 

If you do not know the Lord Jesus as your personal Savior, I would like to encourage you to read the book of John in the Bible.   He is a Friend who can and will be there for you any time you need Him.  He is my best Friend!  Would you contact me and let me know if He is your best Friend too?  I would like to hear from you.   Carol

Carol's Corner

As spring is on its way so are the events of our new year for Girls Ministries.  Our leadership conference is passed.  We had a wonderful time in both the East and the West Leadership Conferences this year.  The East Conference, held at Farmington First, had an attendance of 87.  Our West conference, held at Park Crest A/G, had an attendance of 116.  A hearty thank you to all who felt it worthy of your time to come and sharpen your leadership skills for the Lord. 

The Girls Ministries Retreat will be the last Friday and Saturday in May.  This is NOT Memorial Day Weekend.  We are looking forward to a great time in the Lord.  Come and be a part of this great event. 

We will have our Sports event in conjunction with the Girls Ministries Retreat again this year.  We are blessed to have Volleyball Coach Pam Sullivan again.  She did an awesome job for us last year.  If you or your girls were not there you really missed it, especially if you like this kind of thing.  We will also have some other sports things if at all possible.  Watch our site for updates on those. 

Our second annual Tent Camp Out for Stars through Girls Only will be held at the Royal Ranger Camp Ground on Aug 8 & 9.  See the link pages for more information on the Camp Out. 

The District Celebration this year will be on Oct 4th.  We do not have the location set for that yet.  Watch the web! 

Check to see if your church is chartered.  Remember to fill out your quarterly reports.  Those can be down loaded from our web site and then mailed to the District office. 

We had three winners of the prize for contacting me about reading the web page.  Keep looking!  You never know when I may offer something good again!
